Or any bird at all? It's just hard to tell. Good Luck, Ginger! *huggles*

This is exactly why I want Trinket to be able to choose.

Well,

I couldn't stand it that they could not find a home for these babies so they are coming to live with us next Sunday.

They have been DNA'd and they are both males. They also have tested negative for claymidia, PFPD, and Polynoma. however, they will still be in a 30 day quarantine.

I am going to have a bachelor pod.

Please pray for a good transition. Their parronts love them very much and it's very difficult for them to send them to a new home. Also it's going to be hard on these babies because they were so loved and will miss their Mom and Dad so much.

Their names are Chotu (Show Too) and Mitthu (Mit Too). They are Indian (from India) names. And I'm embarrassed to say that I have a hard time pronouncing them correctly. Half the time I say Show Tune and Me Too.

I will get photos next week.

Ginger,

I've been following this story and I'm happy to hear you're giving these boys a new home. I know how hard you struggled over this decision, but I don't think that you made a hasty one.

Can't wait to see pictures!

Well they will be going into quarantine for 30 days but I'm sure there will be lots of calling back and forth. Any tips on how to introduce will be greatly appreciated. I'm most worried about them landing on each other's cages and getting toe bit. Trinket has a PHD.

I'm wondering if I should keep them in seperate rooms and just allow play time out together or put them all in the bird room and make sure their cage doors are shut so no one on the inside can bite the bird who's landed on the outside.

I'm a nervous wreck! :omg: :eeek: :help:

It's a tough call. The first time you introduce will definitely have to be tightly monitored. I would say put them in the bird room once quarantine is up. :)
